Medi-Cal Keep Your Coverage

Keep Your Medi-Cal Coverage. We Can Help. Take Action to Keep Your Coverage.

Renewing Medi-Cal can be confusing. FHCCGLA offers free help in English and Spanish. Choose the option that works best for you.

Enrollment Freeze – January 1, 2026
Undocumented adults* who apply Jan. 1, 2026 or later can only get emergency or pregnancy coverage. People already enrolled in full scope can keep their coverage as long as they remain eligible and complete their renewal before their coverage is terminated.

Dental Benefits – July 1, 2026
Adult Medi-Cal members with certain immigration statuses* will no longer have dental coverage.

Keep your contact information updated with Medi-Cal, your health plan, and your clinic so you don’t miss important notices.
Watch your mail and respond quickly to Medi-Cal renewal packets or letters from your health plan or county office.
